We have received technical approval on Lollipop OS 5.1 which includes camera improvements. One M9 owners on AT&T should keep an eye out for software version 1.32.502.31 rolling out now. We know that they are buying working on software update for dozens of other smartphone from other manufacturers, but it wouldn’t hurt them to bump HTC phones to the top of their priority list every once in a while. Verizon has always been the slowest at pushing out new software updates to HTC phones. We’re hoping the T-Mobile update will come later this week, but don’t hold your breath if you own Verizon’s variant of the One M9. With the AT&T HTC One M9 update marked on the calendar, we expect T-Mobile will be next on the list. ![]() It’s impossible to know exactly what will be included in the update, but we’re going to guess that it will get the same Android 5.1 software treatment as the Sprint HTC One M9 plus a few AT&T-specific bug fixes and optimizations. HTC’s Mo Versi has just announced that the update has received technical approval from AT&T’s software team and is scheduled for an OTA roll-out starting tomorrow (July 15). It’s been a few weeks since Sprint released the Android 5.1 update for its version of the HTC One M9, but it won’t be long before AT&T customer get treated to the same software experience.
